About AyodhyaRamMandir.com

An independent, practical guide for pilgrims and visitors — not the official temple website.

Important: AyodhyaRamMandir.com is not affiliated with the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust, the Government of Uttar Pradesh or any temple authority. We do not sell darshan, issue passes or collect donations. The official trust website is srjbtkshetra.org.

This site exists to answer the practical questions people have before visiting the Ram Mandir: how darshan works, what the rules are, how to get to Ayodhya, where to stay and what else to see. It is written to be useful to first-time visitors and families, in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil.

What we cover

  • How a visit to the temple works, step by step, with the rules as we understand them.
  • The other temples, palaces and ghats of Ayodhya.
  • How to reach Ayodhya by air, rail and road, with realistic journey times.
  • Where to stay, in Ayodhya and in Lucknow.
  • Guided tours for those who want transport and a guide arranged.

How we research

Information is checked against the temple trust’s published notices, government and railway sources, airlines and booking platforms. Temple timings, pass procedures and security rules change often, so we describe them in general terms, say clearly when something is approximate, and send you to the official source to confirm. We aim to be neutral and respectful, and we do not carry political commentary.

How the site is funded

We are a GetYourGuide affiliate partner and link to Trip.com for hotels. If you book a tour or a room through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Nothing connected with darshan is ever sold here. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
